This policy explains what personal information stratacondigital.co.za collects, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The site is a single page with one contact form, so very little is collected.

1. What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Automatic data: your IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded in the hosting provider’s server logs. We also use Umami Cloud for anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, referrer, browser, device and country). Umami does not use cookies or store your IP address.

We do not collect payment details or any special personal information, and the site is not aimed at children.

2. Why we collect it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and discuss or quote a project. We keep the server logs to run and secure the site. We do not sell your information and will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

3. Who we share it with

Your information is processed by the services that run this site: a web hosting provider, an email service, and Umami Cloud (anonymous visit statistics). We may also disclose it if the law requires. Some of these providers may store data outside South Africa. We choose providers that offer protection similar to POPIA.

4. Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies needed for it to work, if any. Our analytics tool, Umami, does not use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 12 months. If you become a client, we keep project and invoicing records for 5 years, as tax law requires.

6. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and access to messages and the WordPress admin is restricted. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

7. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@stratacondigital.co.za.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
